Why Attend?
This is a facilitated discussion with the aim of giving employers and employees a “safe space” to identify unconscious biases at play in the workplace and to discuss how to overcome these biases.
This course was an eye-opener, equipping us with the tools to manage our bias and understand situations better. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
This workshop was incredibly insightful. It taught me to be more aware of biases. Often, they are not intentional but have a profound impact on society or on other people.
A course filled with many brilliant insights.
This workshop was food for thought and a huge moment to reflect and become more self-aware. I thoroughly enjoyed the session.
The course developed me both professionally and personally. What a fruitful session. The facilitators were amazing and most importantly knowledgeable. We indeed learned a lot.
There are some 188 biases out there. We all have biases, some are conscious but most are unconscious. Biases influence our relationships and our decision-making in a multitude of ways. They can cost an organisation in terms of poor decision-making and damaged relationships. The challenges are to become aware of one's own biases and to develop strategies to limit their negative effects on our relationships and decision-making, as well as to be able to deal with the impact of the bias of others and of the organisations in which we work. This one-day workshop will provide you with the insights and strategies you need to do this both personally and professionally.
